December 2024 1-129 avenue Daumesnil, Paris 12

Under its festive lights highlighting its majestic architecture, the Viaduc des Arts welcomes you for a magical and convivial December.

From 1 to 31 December, immerse yourself in the holiday spirit along Avenue Daumesnil, in the heart of the 12th arrondissement, with unique creations, enchanting activities, and warm moments to share with family or friends.

1. An Advent calendar competition from 1 to 24 December

The festivities will kick off with a grand Advent valendar competition on the @viaducdesartsofficiel Instagram account 🎉
A series of 24 prints representing the world of different artisans will be showcased. These same life-sized prints will also be displayed in the windows of the participating artisans.

Initially hidden by tissue paper, they will be unveiled daily by an artisan, creating an Advent calendar along the Viaduc des arts and on the @viaducdesartsofficiel Instagram account.

Conditions for entering the competition

• The competition is open to all individuals aged 18 or over, residing in mainland France or visiting Paris.

Competition rules

How to score the most points to win? (No rules are mandatory for participation)

1️⃣ Follow the accounts:
• 1 point if you follow the Instagram account @viaducdesartsofficiel
• 1 extra point for each participating artisan’s Instagram account you follow (up to 24 points)

2️⃣ Engage on Instagram:
• 1 point per comment on Viaduc des arts posts, tagging 2 friends (up to 24 points max)
• 1 point for sharing our posts in your story, mentioning @viaducdesartsofficiel and using the hashtag #aventviaduc

3️⃣ Share your experience at the Viaduc des arts:
• 1 point for posting a story of the prints in artisans’ windows, mentioning @viaducdesartsofficiel and using the hashtag #aventviaduc
• 2 points for posting a story of a purchase from a Viaduc des arts artisan, again mentioning @viaducdesartsofficiel and using the hashtag #aventviaduc

At the end of the 24 days, and once all points have been tallied, 3 grand winners will be announced in our story.

Up for grabs: prizes made in the Viaduc des arts

• The 1st prize winner will receive: a bottle of gin and a bottle of « Pastiche » from La Distillerie du Viaduc
• The 2nd prize winner will receive: a tasting bag of artisan jams from Confiture Parisienne
• The 3rd prize winner will receive: a box of chocolates from Atelier C

Winners will be contacted by the artisans via private message on Instagram within 7 days of the competition closing.

General conditions

• Participation validity: only entries that comply with the conditions outlined in these rules will be considered
• Prizes cannot be exchanged or converted into cash
• The organiser reserves the right to verify participants' identities and adherence to the rules
• Any attempt at fraud or failure to comply with the terms will result in immediate disqualification

2. An artistic performance by Jérôme Mesnager on 7 December

As part of the 12X12 Festival, Jérôme Mesnager, the famous street artist, will create a mural on the windows of the Viaduc des arts featuring his iconic « white men », recognised and admired far beyond the borders of Paris.
Using Meudon white, he will transform the artisans' windows into a living, poetic fresco, where his characters, symbols of humanity and freedom, will come to life before your eyes. A unique performance not to be missed!

3. The Christmas market of artisans on 7 and 8 December

Get ahead of the holiday season by offering handmade artisan gifts! Ten passionate artisans will open their doors to showcase their unique creations and exceptional craftsmanship.

4. Storytelling walks in the workshops on 7, 14, and 18 December

As you may have guessed, the magical atmosphere will be present throughout December. And what’s a fairy tale without stories? To relive your childhood, storytelling walks will be organised in the workshops of your artisans.

A storyteller, artist, and actor will immerse you in the magical world of tales rewritten and adapted especially to the crafts and universes of the artisans. A guaranteed trip back to childhood!

Enjoy a delicious break in the vaults of our artisans:

• Hot chocolate at Atelier C (123 Avenue Daumesnil, Paris 12th)

And from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM food trucks will sell delicious sweet and savoury crêpes along the Viaduc des arts:
