The Grand Prix de la Création by the city of Paris 2021

The City of Paris is launching the 28th edition of the Grands Prix de la Création 2021. This competition aims to reward talented creators from companies and professionals in the fashion, design and craft industries. The winners will be able to benefit from several advantages in terms of support and visibility for their company and receive an endowment of 18,000 euros. Applications must be submitted by midnight on 30 April 2021.

Who is this competition for?

The competition is open to companies and professionals in the fashion, design and craft industries, with one condition: they must have been in business for one year at the time of entry. The Grand Prix de la Création rewards a professional for the quality of his or her project and career path, development strategy, commitment to the transmission of know-how or innovation. This prize is aimed at experienced professionals, companies and brands whose development is more advanced. The Emerging Talent Award recognises a professional with a promising project. The award is an incentive. This year, one of the prizes dedicated to the fashion sector will be awarded to an accessories designer, thanks to a partnership with ADC and the Fédération du prêt-à-porter féminin.

How and why should I apply?

6 professionals will be rewarded, 3 Grands Prix de la Création and 3 Prix Talents Emergents in the above-mentioned fields. Following an initial pre-selection, candidates will be asked to present their work to a jury on 16 and 17 June. The winners will then be able to benefit from support and increased visibility thanks to Ateliers de Paris and its partners. They will also be awarded the considerable sum of 18,000 euros.

The call for applications is open until 30 April at midnight.
